Painted Carbon Steel

  • Pass a dry, soft, clean daily.
  • When necessary, use a damp flannel in a solution of water and mild soap; then dry quickly with another soft, dry cloth.
  • For shine use a flannel with automotive wax and go through the whole surface with gentle movements, without leaving excess.

Remember:

  • Never use chemicals that are based on petroleum, abrasives, steel sponges or similar, as these products can remove or scratch the painted surface.
  • Also beware friction and beats that can damage the paint layer and compromise the appearance of the furniture.

Stainless steel / Chrome

  • Pass a dry, soft, clean daily.
  • Use a cloth moistened with alcohol to remove stains fingers and get shine.
  • In more severe cases apply automotive wax, making use of a clean, soft cloth; pass over the entire surface with delicate movements.

Remember:

  • Never use abrasives, polishing paste, solvents, steel sponges and similar cleaning or maintenance.
  • Besides compromising the brightness, these products can scratch the metal surface and the possibility of contact with other parties other than aluminum, causing irreparable damage to the piece.

Polished Aluminum

  • Pass a dry, soft, clean daily.

Remember:

  • Never use abrasives, polishing pastes, solvents, steel wool or similar cleaning or maintenance.
  • Besides compromising the brightness, these products can scratch the metal surface and the possibility of contact with other parties other than aluminum, causing irreparable damage to the piece.

Natural Leather

  • For cleaning use a damp, soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight. Do not use polish, oil, solvent, detergent varnish or water with ammonia.
  • Immediately remove the liquid overturned on the surface of the leather before it the soak. The immediate removal will prevent the affected areas turn into permanent stains.
  • For hydration, vaseline twice a year in the type vaqueta leathers.

Remember:

  • Leather has the property of being a tough and durable material, but it is a natural material, even through tanning process, treatment and / or waterproofing, can vary slightly tones and skin imperfections.

Synthetic Leather

  • Use mild soap for cleaning; do not use chemical or abrasive products.
  • To remove stains apply neutral detergent using a clean, soft cloth; make smooth movements and then roll back a cloth moistened with clean water.
  • Air dry and in the shade.

Remember:

  • The synthetic leather is an unnatural material, industrialized, whose main characteristic the regularity of its surface, footage and tones.

Fiber and Aluminum

  • Every day, remove the dust with a clean, soft and dry.

Laminated Plastic (Formica)

  • Clean daily with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
  • Remove heavy dirt less dampening the cloth in a neutral detergent diluted in water; apply in a circular motion.
  • In more resistant cases, rub the area with a cloth soaked in alcohol and domestic use a clean, dry cloth to shine.

Remember:

  • The surface of Formica is non-porous and does not retain dirt; because of this there is the proliferation of fungi and bacteria.
  • For cleaning do not use solvents or products with highly aggressive, such as abrasive materials.
  • It is also not advisable to use wax or silicone on the surface of the laminate, as they may form a fatty layer that makes cleaning difficult and affects the look of the furniture.

Natural and Dyed Wood

  • Use cleaning daily a dry, soft, clean cloth which should be passed in the same direction of the wood grain.
  • Every six (6) months is necessary to pass a cloth, soft, dry, with carnauba wax across the surface of the wood, also following their veins. Then remove the excess with a clean cloth.

Remember:

  • Do not use the type polishing furniture products, solvents, paint thinner, acetone, aqueous solutions in general, abrasive products such as scouring powder, steel wool or similar; they can spot and attack the surface of the wood.

Marble / Granite

  • Clean with soft cloth and mild detergent, always diluted with water.
  • Acid, oil, soda, detergent, chemical, juice, coffee, wine, liquids in general, among others, cause stains if not removed immediately, because after a while, the stones absorb such products and there is no way to restore or remove them.
  • The surfaces of these minerals are waxed and waterproofed, ensuring durability and preventing stains; however, with time and use, this layer undergoes wear and tear and needs to be reapplied.

Remember:

  • Marble and granite are metamorphic rocks; metamorphism is the transformation that a rock undergoes under the action of high temperature, pressure, gases and water vapor. Being a natural product is subject to variation in color, veining and shades and cannot be rejected for such differences.

Fabric

  • Clean weekly dust deposited on the fabric with a vacuum cleaner and pass a gentle brushing once or twice during the week.
  • Immediately remove the accidental dirt using a white sponge or cloth, clean and soft. In cases difficult to remove stains or have already penetrated the tissue, clean dampening the stained area with a mild detergent diluted in water, and rub gently until the complete removal.

Remember:

  • When the need for heavier cleaning is recommended, to tissues, a dry cleaning done by a specialized company.
  • Never leave the product in direct sunlight, directly or indirectly, because it may cause changes in tone.

Glass and Crystal

  • Every day, wipe dry, clean and soft.
  • In cleaning of surface dirt, use a clean, soft cloth dampened with alcohol or other household own product window-cleaning; pass across the surface lightly in a circular motion and let it dry naturally.
  • If you prefer, use a paper towel to absorb excess.
  • Repeat if necessary.

Remember:

  • Glass is a transparent material, hard, tough, non-absorbent and non-porous; it can however be scratched, cracked and / or broken if not handled with some care.
